Responsible for Labor Law Unit comprised of three senior labor attorneys of this 120,000 employee healthcare company with 1,200 facilities nationwide. Beverly was the 57th largest employer in the U.S. Represented Beverly in all matters relating to employment litigation.

Labor law responsibility for The Bekins Company and its subsidiaries with 7,500 employees, including Bekins Moving & Storage, Bekins Records Management, Business Relocation, Bekins Van Lines, Bekins Express, Bekins International, Data Transportation, Ace Pest Control, U-Rent Furniture, Elegance Furniture, Bekins Building Maintenance and Bekins Protection Service. 

Collins Foods International, Inc., Labor and Government Affairs Counsel
Responsible for legal management of Labor Relations/ERISA functions for Collins Foods, an international fast-food restaurant/service company (Sizzler, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Collins Foods Service) with 7,000 employees. 

Additional Experience
Prior labor law, labor relations and employment law positions with INA Corporation's international headquarters in Philadelphia and Westinghouse Electric. While pursuing masters degree in labor law at NYU, provided legal services through the New York City Mayor’s Office.

"Arbitration and/or The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission," an in depth analysis (LLM thesis) of availability of multiple remedies for employment discrimination and legal basis therefor.  "Internal Union Affairs, Union Elections and The Landrum-Griffin Act," Department of Labor Field Training Manual for Investigators. Publication of "Labor Law Report". A variety of labor law articles in The Legal Times, The Los Angeles Lawyer, The National Law Journal, The Employee Relations Law Journal, The EEO Review, The Manager’s Guide to EEO, The California Restaurant Association Bulletin and The California Broker. Frequent training seminars/workshops for officers, managers and supervisors on sexual harassment, employment discrimination, wrongful termination, employee privacy, drug testing, wage and hour and union prevention, including bi-weekly labor law management training at Beverly Enterprises Training Center.

Authored a cover story The Los Angeles Lawyer on sexual harassment, power and politics in the workplace which is recognized by West’s Annotated Codes. The management employment law speaker before the California State Bar Association on sexual harassment.
